How does this work?

Welcome to Doria Art Studio!

At Doria Art Studio we have been setting up and structuring arts and crafts programs for people within our community for years. Whether it is painting, drawing, or some other creative artistic project we love to do it.

B'H, one day we came across resin and started exploring all the creative things that can be done with it. We set up a few events and then realized that with the proper instruction we would be able to help other communities set up their own resin parties and have fun together beautifying their mitzvahs like we were doing here at home.

So we gather all the materials that one would need to make a beautiful, customized, mezuzah case, menorah, seder plate, Shabbos tray, or tealight candle holders (and adding more every day) for their homes and out it together in a fun activity for the adult community. Some of these materials include the molds, resin and the measuring cups to the glass, coloring, glitter, flakes as well as all the little things in-betweens like popsicle sticks and gloves. There are a few things that we do not provide such as paper towels, q-tips, aprons, but we provide a list of these items so you are prepared.

Now, we should mention that these are craft projects are designed for adults. Where we chose to send resin that is low in toxic fumes and can be used inside, it is still very sticky so we recommend that only children who are old enough to be responsible and under the supervision of responsible adults be involved in this process.

In each kit there is an extra so the coordinator of your event will be able to make their own unique item and be versed in how to lead the group. We also provide detailed directions, videos and power point presentations not to mention a consultation call to make this process as easy and stress-less on the event host.

So when you are in the planning stages of your event reach out and place your order, let us know your event date as well. Typically the original order is placed about a month before the event with a good idea of the amount of participants. We ask that the minimum amount of time be three weeks before placing the order. The within two weeks of the order being prepped and shipped the final count should be given to us. Our goal is to have the package on your door step about four days before your event.

Once you order, you will receive a confirmation and welcome email. Shortly after you will receive a pdf of directions, also in your package you will receive a hard copy of those directions, the shortly before your event you will receive any videos or power point presentations we have available along with a consultation call.

And of course - questions! If you have any questions, thoughts, or comments they are always welcome!

B"H, we have received amazing feedback of how the women loved the event and the projects turned out beautiful so let us provide the materials to help enhance your event!

Klal  Yisroel's Love Song

Parshas B'shalach

My son pondered last week, "How did Hashem make all the colors?"
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"In the olden day, everything was black and white." I laughed but realized, really Hashem could have made our world black and white.  Hashem paints our world for our pleasure. He beautifies our world because He loves us.

In the Song of the Sea we proclaim, "Zeh Kaili V'anvehu". "This is my G-d and I will glorify Him."  This is the source for beautifying Hashem's mitzvos. Rabbi Ephraim Nisenbaum asks, why specifically do we learn to beautify mitzvos from the Song of the Sea?

The Splitting of the Sea was a glorious display of Hashem's love for the Jewish people. He went the extra mile, beyond the mere minimum obligations of defending a distressed nation. Splitting the sea with myriads of miracles was only for our enjoyment.

The Jewish people imbibe this love and want to reciprocate. "Zeh kaili v'anvehu" I don't wan't to do Your mitzvos by fulfilling the bare minimum.  I want to show my love for You by going the extra mile to make your mitzvos glorious.

At Doria Art Studio, we are here to help you glorify Hashem's mitzvos. A gorgeous seder plate, remembering the Exodus. A stunning tzedakah box, showing the importance for the mitzvah of giving. Let us know how we can help enhance your mitzvah experience.
