FAQ

What are shipping rates?

Each order has a variety of different products included in the package. Sometimes we find alternative ways of sending certain products so we are providing regular ground shipping within the continental United States at a flat rate.

For those who wish to have their packages expedited or sent out of country the rates, which are based on location, weight and speed of delivery, will be charged after the package has been packed and is shipped off.

(All rates depend on location, weight, and speed of delivery and are subject to change.)

When do you ship?

We ship relative to when your event will take place.  We plan to pack up your order about two weeks before your event, and plan that you receive your order at least four days before your event.  Please let us know if you do not receive your package within that time frame.

When do I need to place my order to get my kit on time?

We ask that orders be placed at least three weeks before your event.

What if I do not know how many I need?

You can make another order up to two weeks before your event.

Each product has a list of what is included.

You will need to provide certain basic items which will be listed on your instructions. (i.e. Tablecloths, plates, paper towels, serving cups ect. Disposable aprons are an optional item you can purchase.)

An extra kit is provided for the event coordinator to create a sample

What is your minimum order?

An extra kit is provided for the event coordinator to create a sample to become familiarized with the process before the event.

No.  We offer event kits with instructions and supplies for an event.

How long does the project take?

Mezuzah cases & tealight holders: about 30-45 min.

Trays & Menorahs: about 45-60 mins.

What is resin?

Epoxy resin is made up of two liquids: a resin and a hardener. When you mix them together 1:1 ratio, a chemical reaction occurs that changes the mixture into a solid.

How long does it take to dry?

The curing time, takes at least 24 hours

Is resin toxic?

Many resins are toxic.

The resin we provide is low odor, non-toxic.  We still recommend using craft resin in a well ventilated area.  (No need to do it outdoors.)

What protective measures do I need to take?

Resin is very sticky and is hard to wash off! Wearing gloves is a must!  Aprons are recommended as well.

Keep resin away from children! Phones and personal items should be put away! Be careful to avoid skin, mouth & eye contact.  If there is skin contact, wash well with soap and water. If ingested, contact a medical professional immediately. Resin can ruin clothing and carpet. Do not pour down the sink!! (add into instructions)

Can participants take their project home?

Smaller crafts (mezuzah cases, tea light holders, & tambourines) can be taken home.  Participants need to be careful during transport.  Participants should place a plate on a flat surface so that the resin will dry evenly.

The larger crafts (Shabbos trays, seder plates and menorahs) need to be left at the venue but can be gently moved after 12 hours.  Resin cures after 24-48 hours.

Would you recommend resin for kids?

We would recommend this project for kids ages 10 and above, with supervision and careful instructions.

What are the most important tips for resin mixing?

Resin only harden if

  1. The ratio of the resin (A) and hardener (B) are 1:1.
  2. If the resin is mixed properly (3-5 mins).  Be meticulous!

Make sure resin is placed on flat, leveled surface so it can cure evenly

Is resin flammable?

Cured resin is heat resistant but can not handle a direct flame!  It will burn! Therefore, for our tea light holders, we provide a metal insert to protect the resin from the flame.  The design of our Menorahs are such that the resin is on the bottom of a glass platform to protect the resin from the flames.

Are discounts offered?
