Resin... Making Dreams Come Ture

Resin... Making Dreams Come Ture

Resin helped me transform a childhood dream into reality.  When I was fifteen years old, my family visited Abba and Pamela Clayman in the Old City.  Their home is elegant and ornate, but the crowning jewel is a magnificent washing station: a stone Bais Hamikdash replica where water flows through stone doors and down steps into the washing cup.

This sink was crafted to reflect the nevuah in Yechezkel 47:1 regarding the river that will flow from the Kodesh Hakedashim in the Third Bais Hamikdash. That sink captivated me, and I dreamed that one day, I would have a Bais Hamikdash sink in my own mikdash me’at.

Using resin, I finally created that dream masterpiece, which is both stunning and deeply meaningful. It serves as a constant reminder of our yearning for the Third Bais Hamikdash. Now, as my children wash negel vasser, I remind them that they are like the Kohanim in the Bais Hamikdash, washing their hands to prepare for their daily avodah. It is a beautiful way to bring the concept that we are a mamleches kohanim into our daily lives.
